He gently placed her back onto her feet, whipping a knife out of his belt. He pushed Brenna behind him protectively. Backing away with caution, Brenna could only watch as the suspense rose. "Don't make me do this," Steve pleaded, his voice sounding tired. But Bucky was gone once again, taken control of by the Winter Soldier. And the only thing that mattered now was completing his mission. The two lunged for each other. ' • • • Brenna Halliday Stark. Barking could be heard on the inside that made Sam and Steve jump but didn't affect the ex-HYDRA soldier. "Hold on I'll be there in a minute!" A young female voice could be heard telling the dog to pipe down. The door opened to reveal a girl with beautiful dark skin no older than 20. "Winnie?"she questioned not sure if it was actually him. "Hey, Minnie. Miss me?" •••••• A story in which half the avengers need to lay low for a while and, it just so happens Bucky knows someone who wouldn't mind the extra company. But the someone happens to be an orphaned 20 year old girl with special abilities and a past with the Winter Soldier. I do not own any of the marvel characters (boy do I wish I did) I only own Armina and her adorable dog that I wish I could have.

What does it actually feel like to be erased? Everyone talks about the Winter Soldier like he's just this scary story, but they don't see the parts that got buried along the way. They see the missions and the name, but they weren't there when his whole life was being ripped apart. They didn't see him being broken down and rebuilt into someone he doesn't even recognize. People remember the name. But they have no idea what was lost to make it.

Rebecca was 9 when Bucky blipped, she spent 4 years alone, because her mum, mandy, had died due to cancer during the blip, when Bucky came back he found her in an abusive foster home, where she had to work for her meals, she remembered all of her aunts and uncles and her best friend, Peter Parker.

He cared for her as much as he cared for Steve, but his sights were always elsewhere. That is, until he sees her again years later at an army base in Italy, where he is stationed. Author's Note: This story begins in the 1940's and will take you on a journey to the end of Captain America: Civil War (or maybe I'll do the entire MCU timeline if I'm feeling frisky). It's quite a long story, but there is always something going on; every chapter is important. This story is a slow-burn filled with tension and teasing; happy moments and...well, if you know the MCU, then you know the fate that awaits poor, handsome Bucky. I tried to keep most of this story as accurate to the MCU timeline and lore as possible, but I did have to change a few things to better fit this fanfiction.
