There's one tiny problem though (actually, make that two or three), her magical talent is still shrouded in mystery and her amazing, mind blowing, flawless invention DEFINITELY doesn't work. A ruined ceremony doesn't exactly help her cause either. Just when things start to look bleak, Magus (a talking white cat) appears, asking her to collect star shards in exchange for revealing her destiny. Curious and desperate, Ashlynn agrees, only to be pulled into whimsical stories and exciting books. Hallie Carter and Hayden Taylor have been best friends forever, meeting everyday at their old tree house watching the sunrises and sunsets. They have always considered each other "Just Friends" even though they both start to feel otherwise. However, what happens when the new boy shows interest in Hallie? And does what Hayden said years ago: "You'll always be my girl Hal. Forever." really mean something to the both of them? The most important words to Hallie, "For Keeps Forever" will be echoing through her mind when it'll be time to make the choice and answer the hardest question... We make the breeze... We help the animals... We help flowers bloom... We live in the forest with the animals... We are the Fairies of Life. Or well they are the 'Fairies of Life'... Me? I'm not. I haven't found my gift so I'm not one of them until I find it. For 10 hundred years I've been trying to figure out my talent, with no luck. But this year I can feel it... I can feel that I'm gonna find it. Here in the forest there are more female fairies than male fairies. So it's normally like two to three females to a male. There's this time in a century when we mate up! It's called 'Time of the Lovers'. That time of a century always makes me giddy and sad. Giddy that I get to see all the wonderful outfits the fairies dress up in. They all always look so wonderful. You can only be IN the gathering if you have found your talent. Your talent helps you make your outfit, with a hint of your own magic thrown in to make it unique. I've always dreamed of what my outfit would be, but it will never get made till that darn talent turns up.
