Summer cuts, she can't remember when or why she started cutting, but she did, and has been for a while. She likes the feeling she gets when the knife pierces her skin. She feels in control. Bradley saves her, he changes her life.. For good or bad, Summer hasn't decided yet....

Rose is sick, has always been sick, and oddly accepting of an inevitable death. After being admitted into hospital near to the due date, she asks her older brother James, a world renowned author, for a final bedtime story. The subject? Pirates. She may be accommodating to the idea of eternal slumber but her brother is in no way of a similar mentality. After a close call in the hospital, he steps out and wishes upon the first star he sees, as a desperate joke. However... It seems the world is full of magic. What happens when that wish comes true? Join Rose and James on an adventure of a lifetime, a chance at saving Rose...and meet a devilish rogue straight out of a fantasy world.

A book contains one shot stories that I have written using my spare time.

What would it be like if we can live without a heart? What would we think if we can get rid of feeling pain, sadness, or heartbroken? Would it be bittersweet though if not only we can get rid of those feelings but we have to get rid of feeling happy and love? What would you do? Would you want to live like that not feeling any feelings or keep your heart and still have all these feelings?

I am not near as strong as I make myself out to be.

[infrequent updates] #8th in the fall awards 2020 (fantasy) *** Ashlynn Woodbridge loves all things magical. She's magical herself! There's nothing she'd love more than to understand it all. There's one tiny problem though (actually, make that two or three), her magical talent is still shrouded in mystery and her amazing, mind blowing, flawless invention DEFINITELY doesn't work. A ruined ceremony doesn't exactly help her cause either.
