For the Wonder Writing contest. Prompt: create a story about choosing kindness

A nation divided by two sisters, a cruel husband, and a wise man.

A five year old helps a homeless man. (based off of a true story)

In 4068, kindness is a sin punishable by death. After all, kindness is weakness and the weak do not survive. This truth has been pounded into everyone for the past 100 years. Unfortunately, one sixteen-year-old girl's heart didn't get the memo. Walking home one day she sees a young man being attacked by two adults. The urge to be kind and save him is strong. But every action has a price, and sometimes, that price is death.

#WondertheMovie Frisk gets bullied for many things. She's Russian, short, and she was an orphan. She is different than others. People make fun of her smile and laugh. They made her feel like a mistake. Only one person can make her feel better and she takes her to see the stars.

This is a short story about how kindness brought two friends together.

A girl by the name of yahaira has had her ups and down. But will someone change that?

Kaazim is the only Arabic boy in Allison High School. He is banged up against lockers, desks; really anything hard. But, Kaazim doesn't do anything about it. This is what baffles Aiden so much. Then again, Aiden has never been bullied before. This is because of his brother, Daniel. Daniel has taught and protected Aiden most of his life. Aiden now puts up with nothing, and will harm anything in his way. Will Kaazim teach Aiden how to be kind, or is he never going to change.

There is no need to wonder what your kindness is able to do. There is no wonder because you can do it. You can be kind. Yes, sometimes it is hard because you don't know how people will react. You don't know weather they will accept it and appreciate it. But is it not worth the risk? Is it not worth is to make someone who feels invisible, feel seen? To be able to make a total stranger feel happy? Is it not worth it to make someone simply smile? This can be you. It is completely within your power. You have the power to show kindness. And I tell you, it will not be wasted. Kindness will never be in vain.

When the time comes for him to go, will he be able to renounce the only person who felt safe with him? Or will he act on the kindness he never thought he would have?

After feeling completely broken and shattered, Fiona is confronted by her neighbor about her depression. Fiona begins to concentrate her efforts on living the best life possible. Even though her depression might be the toughest challenge she's ever encountered. Without realizing it, her neighbors words of encouragement might have been the kindest and most life-changing she's ever encountered. Written for #WonderTheMovie

Every year on July 1st a quarter with the letter K written in sharpie on the front is mixed in with others in the small town of Ruddale, Montana; at least 45 minutes away from other civilization. This quarter is the Kindness Quarter. Once received, the receiver will help out another person and hand them the Quarter as well. For example: A woman is buying groceries and is short 1 dollar, the man behind her in line gives her the Kindness Quarter as well as a dollar so she can buy her groceries. Pretty simple right? As a store employee, you cannot take the Quarter as payment. So the Kindness Quarter circulates around town to spread kindness and love to everyone who needs it. This year was no different.
