Kindness. A simple act of kindness could change everything. Without it, tragedies stand on the edge threatening to fall over. A simple act of kindness could be the one thing to grasp you out of the sinking rivers you are drowning in. Without it, hands of the unbearable pressure of the world threaten to hold you under until your breath becomes nothing but bubbles that float calmly to the surface. Kindness, the one thing I needed to save me.

Lauren wonders how her Mamma is going to cope with her eventual death from cancer. Lauren is forced to be mature beyond her years, but this doesn't stop her from wanting to play with a beagle she has always dreamed of having and playing dolls with her friends. No matter the tears, Lauren wants peace for everyone, including herself and mamma.

This is about a boy that is bullied but a person who is also bullied for her inability to talk puts an end to both of their problems and end up falling in love. ( I know that sounds stupid but it will make sense when you read it.)

This is an entry to the wattys #WondertheMovie contest My name is Emily, I'm sixteen years old and I have stage four Leukemia. I used to be pretty, at least that's what i was told before the chemo started and my hair fell out. iIwas pale, thin and closer to death every single day. It wasn't until my diagnosis that I realized just how cruel the world could be, and how rare an act of kindness was. When Ian Dennings walked into the room, ready for his first chemo treatment I finally found myself remembering that I was special. He made me feel beautiful despite my obvious flaws, and gave me hope in the face of death. Ian became my saving grace and the bridge I needed to leave this world peacefully, knowing that I hadn't lived for nothing.
