Zoey McCallester was happy with life. Nothing was perfect but she had a boyfriend whom she loved very much, her best friend was now her roommate and College was going surprisingly well. That is until she makes the mistake of going to the one guy's party that she probably shouldn't. Seeing Dominick Hardy was like a jolt to the gut. He's the kind of guy that only gets better with age, the kind of guy she couldn't forget if she wanted to. He was the boy she'd been hopelessly in love with all through grade school. And to her surprise his feelings were actually mutual. Things have changed for Dominick. He'd always been the good looking rich guy who breezed through life with ease. He was slowly realizing life was a bitch and that even money couldn't buy happiness. That maybe love was all he really wanted out of this world. And Zoey McCallester was who he wanted that with. But he wasn't the kind of guy who deserved a girl like that. Frankly he didn't think any girl deserved his incredibly large amount of baggage.
