Not really expecting anyone to read this, but anyone that does is welcome to... kinda like a public journal.

This story is based on real events that happened to me in 2019. I decided to write this story as a way to cope, and get my thoughts out. Lana is an addict, everyone around her knew it except her. Abusing Xanax and other substances at the early age of 14 wasn't something she thought was super bad. The super bad parts were the reasons why. Her backstory is a long complicated journey of pain, abandonment, and love. As she's sent to a residential rehabilitation home, she builds a strong bond with a boy her age who helps her uncover her dark past. NOTE: This story does cover heavy topics including drug abuse, suicide, and sexual assault. Reader discretion advised if triggered by such topics.
