Ahn Keonho adalah seorang siswa SMA di Seoul yang hidup dalam dunia tanpa rasa. Karena mengidap CIPA, dia tidak bisa merasakan rasa sakit fisik, panas, ataupun dingin. Keonho memilih mati rasa secara emosional agar bisa bertahan hidup. Semuanya berubah ketika Chiquita, seorang murid pindahan berdarah campuran (Thailand-Korea) yang ceria namun tegas, masuk ke kelasnya. Berbeda dengan murid lain yang menutup mata, Chiquita dengan berani menghalangi Jaewon saat berusaha mencelakai Keonho. Chiquita menjadi "pelindung" sekaligus orang pertama yang mengkhawatirkan kesehatan Keonho melebihi Keonho mengkhawatirkan dirinya sendiri. Seiring berjalannya waktu, Chiquita mengajarkan Keonho arti kehangatan yang sesungguhnya-bukan lewat fisik, melainkan lewat hati. Di sisi lain, Keonho belajar untuk berani menghadapi rasa takutnya demi melindungi gadis yang perlahan-lahan mengajari dunianya yang mati rasa untuk kembali "merasakan"
