In the spirit of Halloween, today I will be writing about the theory of "costumes" and disguises people succumb to. As a middle schooler, I am constantly surround by people in disguise. It astonished me to see that no matter the back-handed or contemptuous words "popular people" say to others, people don't get offended nor do they stand up for themselves, but jump at the chance just to talk to the disgusting people. For example, I'm new at this school, and feel completely invisible, and has anyone acknowledged me? No. But let's look on the brighter sides of things even in our darkest times, as Stevie Nicks said, "I've learned as time passes, all the things you're afraid of will come and they will go, and you'll be alright". Just a fellow reminder to believe in yourself, and stay hopeful for the future!
