She was fine. At least, that's what she kept telling everyone. Until her body forced her to stop. Lina has spent her whole life putting others first-family, work, expectations. But when a sudden health scare shakes everything, she's left with a truth she can't ignore: she doesn't know how to take care of herself. What follows isn't a perfect transformation-but a real, messy journey of burnout, boundaries, and learning that choosing yourself isn't selfish... it's survival. Because sometimes, the moment that changes everything... is the one that makes you finally pay attention.

This is a short story I wrote on the topic of teenagers, about one in particular, and how he feels almost totally alone.

A sleeve, a smile, a sweet, simple lie. Who knew that it was so easy to hide.

This is for every girl who never stopped dreaming, even when the world told her to wait. Different. That described her pretty well. What else could you call someone who chased the impossible? Strange, possibly. But she wasn't insane. She had been too lucid for that. No, what make her different is her confidence about the impossible. She was the type of person who could say the sky was turning purple and you'd believe it - maybe even look out the window to comment on it. Now, what happens when her fantasies are finally realised? Pure chaos. But then again, who doesn't like a challenge?
