However, Lauren still receives phone calls from someone who's dead, and happily ever after isn't actually real. Someone is out to get not only Lauren and Joey, but the rest of the StarKids. So, for anyone who doesn't know, this book came after Shortcake ~ A Richpez Story, so for a lot more context, I recommend you try and get through that one first.
