This is an unfinished work, originally written by my middle school self, slowly being revamped and re-written by current me. Y/N Murphy thinks she has things all figured out, and it's as simple as this: Everything sucks. School sucks, people suck, her family sucks. And the only person she can rely on is her brother, Connor. But when he takes his own life, hers crumbles around her, and suddenly nothing makes sense anymore. Now she's stuck with unanswered questions about who her brother was, and who she thinks she is. And with Evan Hansen in the picture, things get even messier. She's not supposed to like him. She knows he's doing something unspeakably wrong. And yet at night when she dreams, she dreams of him.

This story includes spoilers to Dear Evan Hansen. If you have only listened to the musical, I would advise you to read the book in order to fully understand what is happening here. ~ "Connor? Are you even listening to me?" Cynthia asked. Connor lifted his head a bit and Cynthia sighed, her grip tightening a bit as she took a deep breath to try and calm herself down a bit. "Sorry." "And Zoe, stop drawing on your jeans. Those are nice clothes you're ruining." "I'm not ruining, just...decorating." Zoe said, using a simple ink pen to scribble messy stars on the cuffs of her jeans. If Larry cared, he would've taken off work to drive up with us to this stupid camp. Connor thought, grumbling. "Can you do that for me, Connor?" Cynthia smiled, putting her hand on Connor's knee. Connor quickly snapped back and he looked at his mother through his thick hair that often hid his eyes. "I...yeah, I can." Frick what did she say?! Its not that neat when you like your best friend, here's some reasons why: •They'd rather be friends because they would rather not lose you •you'd see them everyday making you like them more and more, or •they'd tell you who their crush is, now you know it isn't you And there's more reasons but I don't wanna type that much anymore- Well, Connor is in that situation, I mean- was in that situation. He'd killed himself. But he's a ghost, all he could do is wander, and because he's a hopeless romantic he follows his love around, Evan Hansen. They were true friends, they'd send each other motivational messages, send emails to each other, talk about their problems, talk about trees, yes, this is Evan after all. And do some stupid shit they both like. Evan is devastated, Connor has to fix this.

Evan Hansen is one month into recovery after surviving a near-fatal suicide attempt. With the help of his friends and his mother, he is healing. He is learning, however, that healing is not linear. There are high points and low points, and nothing about it is easy. This sequel to "Another World" focuses primarily on Evan's recovery, and the lasting depression and regret that comes after an attempted suicide. Ah the roofs. I could sit here for hours. Just a sea of roofs behind me and a busy sidewalk below me.
