There was a beautiful angel, for her name was Komugi. She was a beautiful blind angel and was once the World Gungi Champion. One unfaithful day when she was out in the forest she had gotten mauled by a large grisly bear and died. She was sent to heaven for sins she had none and she had thought she would be in heaven for the rest of eternity but God had other plans. (Obviously, this story takes place in Hunter x Hunter and during the Chimera Ant Arc.) It all begins when a Chimera Ant Queen discovers the nutritious value of human food, and begins to create an army of Chimera Ants that possess human traits. The ants are created with one goal in mind, to provide their queen with enough food in order to birth the King, who is destined to rule all. Some ants ensure that this goal is reached, while others aren't the most loyal and follow their own desires. One ant, an officer, has no problem with the purpose given to him at birth. However, when certain events unfold and unexpected changes occur, where will he fall within all of this chaos, and what will he end up finding value in? In this story, Neferpitou will be female. I'm only saying this because of Pitou's gender ambiguity, and depending on the source, Pitou is either male, female, or in most cases unknown. [ON HIATUS!!!] THEY/THEM PRONOUNS USED FOR PITOU! SHE/HER PRONOUNS USED FOR READER What exactly was it like to die? Would it be peaceful and quiet? cold and dark? or would it be painful? Pitou often found themselves wondering and thinking that on occasion, though the thoughts never stuck around long enough to be pondered upon too long. Up until the moment they were on death's door, they never gave the thoughts much care, not that they cared much about anything except protecting the King, but now that they were actually dying, they still wondered what it'd be like. unfortunately, they'd have to wait a bit longer to find out. (no matter how much I tried, I couldn't bring myself to hate Pitou, and found myself liking them quite a bit, and I saw that there are barley -and I mean BARLEY- any books on them. For my entertainment, I decided to make a book. I know that not alot of people will see it, since alot if the HXH fandom doesn't really care for Pitou, but I wanted to make this for me. But if anyone does end up finding this, enjoy! I'll try to keep the story a bit short.
