One week at camp, One week to make friends, One week to revisit God Blake Washington, the pastor's daughter, visits her favorite place on Earth, youth camp, only this time her best friend isn't there to keep her company. When a boy and his posse who annoy her to bits end up on the same team as her, Blake doesn't know if she can make friends in just one week. Not to mention, the expectations of other people and herself make it hard for her to be the perfect PK example she thinks she needs to be. She just has to last one week and she can leave these people for good. Then again, a lot can happen in just one week. This book is a work in progress. Read at your own risk. Book started: 5/10/2020 Book ended: TBD #1 in churches - May 31st, 2020 #18 in religious - May 23rd, 2020 #2 in making memories - March 30th, 2021 I wrote this during social distancing to fill the hole in my heart where camp should be. Share your camp stories in the comments! This book is based on some of my personal camp experiences as well as things I have heard (I do a lot of eavesdropping). Happy reading!

"I see how you two love the Lord. I see your purity. But even something good... out of season... can be dangerous. You're still becoming. You haven't yet seen what God is asking of you-individually. If this is real... if this is from Him... then one day, He'll write you back into each other's stories. But not now." "Let it go. Not because it isn't love. But because He is." Crizvielle didn't cry in that room. She waited until the piano hall was empty. And when she sat down to play, she couldn't press a single key. Because how do you worship the God who just asked you to walk away from the one person you were sure He gave you? Larkin didn't beg. He didn't ask her to stay. He just whispered, "Seek Him first," and walked away like he didn't just leave his whole heart behind. They never had a label. So there was nothing to end. No goodbye. Just silence. And every Sunday after, they still showed up. Still served. Still prayed. But never beside each other again. This isn't a story about first love. It's a story about first surrender. About giving God the thing you love most-without knowing if He'll give it back. And maybe they'll meet again. Maybe they won't. But for now? They worship with hands lifted and hearts aching. Even if we never. Even if it hurts. Even if it was love. They gave it back to God. Ā© ANAERDNAEUNOIA - 2025

"You don't need the storm to end. You just need someone to stand with you in it." Sometimes, storms come quietly-drifting in on gray clouds, settling in the spaces between words and hearts. In those moments, when the thunder is too loud and prayers feel unanswered, God sends someone to stand beside you. Not to chase the storm away, but to hold the umbrella steady when you can't do it alone. This is a story of two souls, drawn together not by chance, but by gentle, persistent grace. Their friendship begins in laughter and grows in silence, tested by doubts, disappointments, and the slow, steady work of faith. When one can't hear God's voice, the other becomes His gentle reminder-a comforting presence, a quiet strength, a living answer to a silent prayer. Love here is not sudden or dramatic. It grows slowly, like sunlight after rain, nurtured by shared burdens, whispered prayers, and the courage to stay when it's easier to walk away. Through every trial, they learn that following God isn't always easy, but it's always worth it-especially when you're walking together. And so, beneath the shelter of each other's care, they discover that sometimes, God's greatest miracles are the people He sends when you need Him most. From the moment his eyes landed on the sapphire-eyed setter, Miya Atsumu knew he was completely and unquestionably in love. Maybe it had only been a week. Maybe it was a little too fast. Maybe they didn't know each other perfectly, but that wouldn't stop Miya Atsumu from asking out the person he was throwing-up petals for.
