It has been a year since the princess and her knight were able to reunite and seal the horror that was Calamity Ganon. Now, the princess wonders through her kingdom of Hyrule, attempting to help her subjects and return the kingdom to it's former glory. Through her travels, she makes sure to keep her silent knight close to her, afraid to ever loose him again. Now, her appreciation and feelings towards the knight grew stronger and through every moment, good and bad, she is determined to stay by his side and never loose him, even if that means loosing herself. Authors Note: Hello! This is my first ever story and I was really bored one day so I decided to just start typing! I did not plan for this story to go for this long but since so many have been reading it and loving it I have been adding in extra chapters! Thank you for checking it out and I hope you enjoy :) P.S. Author's note: This story takes place during Tears of the Kingdom, right after Link discovers the last of the dragon tears. It combines elements from that story, in addition to some of my other favorite Legend of Zelda games. Though I generally try to stay true to lore, at times I made adjustments to help things flow. Elyza looked past her village to the land beyond. She saw the Dueling Peaks. She had never left Necluda. Even Kakariko Village seemed far away. Now, looking at it, it didn't seem so far. She looked the other direction. She saw what looked like a big...tower. Huh? Has that always been there? Elyza thought. I don't think I've seen that before. Ever. When did that get there? And... why is it glowing orange? A story that follows the storyline of Botw but we gave Link some friends (my ocs). :) Pretty angsty in places. Also, this was the first fanfiction I ever wrote and while I have edited it some, the beginning is not that great, but it gets better, promise.

It's the summer of 1951 and 14 year old Zelda Moore was recently informed by her father that they were going to travel to a foreign place called Ordon for a small getaway. While in Ordon, Zelda finds it difficult to enjoy herself, feeling homesick, failing to get along with other children and feeling extremely out of place. That all changes though when a courageous boy saves her from being picked on and becomes keen on learning more about her and is devoted to turning her dreadful stay into that of a memorable one.

Since living in Hyrule, things have settled down for Jace and Ari, but soon they realize that things don't always stay calm when a certain enemy returns for revenge. Sequel to my first Zelda fanfiction. I don't own Zelda characters. Nintendo owns them. I own some of the characters and their stories. My friend Brandon Ward gets the credit for his part in this sequel.

Major Spoiler Warning for TOTK It's been a few years since it released, but still. =============================== I love thinking about all of the little conversations we don't see between Link, Zelda, and everyone in BOTW/TOTK. Link's traumatic entrance into both of these games had to have fucked him up real good, and I wish we could have seen more of Link mourning and processing some of the death that he encounters throughout both games. So in that vein of thought, I wrote a short scene regarding Link and grief--yes it gets undone at the end of the story but I feel like there's got to be a hot minute in TOTK where you (the player) and Link are both definitely like "Oh, so Zelda is effectively dead, right?" Because, like--that's where I was for a minute. I suspected they might reverse it at the end of the story, but I didn't know what would happen so in my head I imagined what it would be like to watch Link mourn Zelda after discovering her sacrifice.
