After Whole Cake Island, nothing feels the same aboard the Thousand Sunny. Zoro knows Sanji left. He knows Sanji hurt Luffy. He knows he can't forgive betrayal. What he doesn't know is the truth. Late-night confrontations turn cruel. Words become weapons. And when Zoro realizes exactly how much power he holds over Sanji's heart... he uses it. But Sanji has already survived cages, bloodlines, and impossible choices. The only thing he doesn't know how to survive is the man he loves looking at him like he's nothing. Zoro is mentally drained as he hasn't been able to sleep well for the last few days. His nightmares are filled with a reminder of his old "friend" that he'll never be able to protect the one he truly loves...the strawhats and nevertheless to protect Sanji. He is filled with worry that he isn't strong or worthy enough to protect his nakama. Exercising more than usual, and not coming out to eat to avoid questions and concerns about his whereabouts. Eventually, it became too much for him. Causing him to visit a certain curlybrow on their ship, in tears and sorrow.

Sanji and Zoro have been together since before they split up for two years. When they meet again their love is the same but Sanji is not. Or his body isn't. Getting pregnant wasn't a goal in his life but they will manage, won't they? Picture is not mine, characters are not mine, story is mine.

Zoro finds a new hobby and it leads to something special with Sanji. Something they both never expected.

Zoro professes his love for Sanji, and Sanji rejects him. Zoro partly expected it because he's seen how Sanji is a womanizer, but he's still sad because he hoped Sanji would choose him. Nevertheless, Zoro resolves himself to move on to someone new and as he does, Sanji starts to realize that he actually is in love with Zoro but he just didn't know because he had no clue he was gay and he thought Zoro was joking. Now, he knows he has to make it up to Zoro somehow and confess his feelings.
