Nature-benders are an incredibly rare and dangerous type of bender that is thought to have become extinct along with the air-benders. Yet, one remains. Kali. She has been sold, time and time again, through her life already. This time, she is sold to Iroh, who intends on freeing her from her chains for the first time in her life. Kali learns the meaning of independence, freedom, liberation, and love when she finds her life entwined with that of Zuko, son of the Fire Lord.

Born in the water tribe by two nonmembers, Kya and Hakoda, Hai was off to a horrible start. The middle child born showed signs of being a bender early on, but what surprised her family was she was bending the fire element. When her mother Kya was killed right in front of her Hai used her little power and fought back only to be forced onto the ship and taken from her family.

A lot has been happening since Katara and Sokka found Aang in the ice. Now on their way into the earth kingdom to find an Earth bending teacher for Aang the group are confident that they will be able to face anything and anyone in their way without anyone else unless it's Aang's teacher. But when the avatar has a vision of a mysterious man with two feline creatures in the swamp and then finds him in real life Aang suddenly and quickly forgets how kidnapping is illegal. ~~~ Lance and Keith are definitely doing something that is totally illegal. They should know they made the rules, but when they come across a planet that has alien life that looks and acts exactly like humans of earth who were they to resist the temptation to blend in with a undiscovered alien civilisation? How were they supposed to know this world had magic people who could control elements with their mind? And what the heck was the avatar? Oh and there was a centuries long war going on? Eh better than a ten thousand year one. AKA Lance gets kidnapped by a bunch of kids and decides magical powers/destined saviours or not they need adult supervision. AKA Keith gets stuck with a angsty prince and his tea loving uncle and goes through hell just trying to find Lance, make sure they don't die, and resist the urge to commit manslaughter or homicide. He succeeds at most of that stuff (Set a year and a half after Voltron ends)

Zuko wasn't the one to care about anybody accept for one person, his best friend Estella. Who is Estella? She's Mai's younger sister, and is also a master at swords and weapons. She's a regular girl who can't bend like Zuko, however she can make a big impact on the Banished Prince. When Zuko got banished, Estella left also she goes nowhere without him. The two embark on the journey to capture the Avatar, however along the way best friends just might become lovers but will focusing on the Avatar ruin the chance at happiness? Or will all of his focus goes to the one girl he calls home?

Ayaka mysteriously wakes up on the ship of the banished prince. She learns she can bend both fire and water, something nobody has seen before, except for Iroh. Iroh heard of stories of a person who could bend two elements and would help lead the world into greatness and lead the one person the Avatar needed most to end the world. Her golden hair set her out from the rest the world's people, and it captures the attention of a certain prince, There are many questions that need to be answered, how did she get here? Why her? Will she ever go back home? She goes on a journey with her mp3 player, a scarred prince, and a wise silly old man to find these answers and save the world.

Ruka (ROO-KAH) is the middle sibling between Sokka and Katara. Unlike her younger sister, she didn't believe the avatar would return and save the world. Ruka isn't afraid of violence. That's her main source. She's strong, brave, and independent. Also, a gifted waterbender. She loves hard and is compassionate towards others. Zuko doesn't wake up after the Lightning strikes his chest. It's too quick, and he can't siphon its blow. He falls, slowly dying. Slow enough to see his sister fighting Katara. Slow enough to see their battle unfold. When he finally succumbs the last thing he sees is Katara rushing over a second too late, trying futilely to save his life. The only thing he hears are Azula's screams and cries, as she sits chained to the grate in a sobbing mess. When Zuko finally succumbs to his wounds he hears her cry. When he wakes he hears her laugh, and it's the laugh of a child.

In a world where 500 years have passed since the defeat of the war, where there is no home or name left, she has found refuge in the darkness. Her name is Shadow, and her past is a scar: a destroyed tribe, captivity at the age of twelve, and her eyes torn out as a trophy.
