A year after the war, our favorite Gaang reunites. Katara and Aang, Mai and Zuko, they all seem to be holding strong... but are they? Old relationships feel familiar, but not quite right. As Zuko and Katara find themselves in similar dilemmas and start confiding in each other, they begin to wonder: What if the future they chose isn't the one they want?

Katara has been different since her mother's death. She buries herself in books and work, trying to distract from the pain. And Zuko's life is far from perfect. His mother is gone, his father is abusive, and his sister hates him. People seem to avoid him just because of the scar on his face. So when he gets dared to make Katara his girlfriend, saying if he did so he would get paid, he doesn't expect anything to come out of it. Then he begins to spend time with her and realizes maybe he wants something to come out of it. Now he needs to keep the dare a secret. Zutara happens!!! Here is my version of what the rest of the Avatar the Last Airbender would look like if Zutara actually happened. I start from the Agni Kai between Azula and Zuko and we just go from there. I just want to add, I made the effects of Zuko's lightning wound a lot worse than they were portrayed in the show, since I feel like, even though he did get healed by Katara, his reactions and recovery time were very unrealistic (that's probably just me though). I also came up with some new concepts that have to do with Chi and the Spirit World, so hopefully they work with the story and the rest of the Avatar Universe. However during all of this Sokka and Zuko become very overprotective of each other taking extreme measures to protect one another. Meanwhile everyone in Team Avatar is forced to question their ideologies as well as find out some secrets which are exposed in Legend of Korra. During the search for the criminals Zuko and Sokka grow super close, overcoming many obstacles in the way. But will their luck continue? Zuko already has the entire world questioning the Fire Nation's leadership style and surely the law he eventually decides to pass will definitely put him, Sokka, Team Avatar, and the rest of the world's leaders in great danger. Can they overcome this too? Or will they be forced back in the shadows to obtain world peace? Both Sokka and Zuko need to decide on how much they are willing to sacrifice for each other and their decision will impact the fate of the entire world.
