This is for the ones who've lost. Not just someone else, but maybe even themselves. Or maybe not anyone at all. Maybe they lost something that was a part of them. Or maybe they were hurt. Not only because of death. But also because of circumstances. Open this if you feel like you need to. Because sometimes, it's okay to ask for help.

"Finding Me" is a gentle, sad, and soft autobiography that traces the quiet journey of growing up while slowly losing sight of who you are. As a child, Sharla Mae was a careful observer who learned to chase what was popular, what everyone else loved, and what the crowd valued-mistaking borrowed interests for her own heart's desires. From following the latest trends to asking for things she never truly wanted, she spent years walking a path that was never quite hers, until she began to realize how much of her own identity she had left behind. This story opens about the confusion of living outside your own skin, the quiet regret of choices made just to fit in, and the slow, tender courage it takes to finally pause, look inward, and ask: What do I actually love? What does my heart truly beat for? It is a heartfelt account of discovering your own tastes, rebuilding your self-worth, and learning that being unapologetically you is the most beautiful thing you can offer the world. And if you're also someone who's still finding yourself in the process, then this book is for you to relate to. I hope one day you're gonna find the real you.

Just some thoughts about anxiety and analysis paralysis in the form of poetry. Excerpt from 5-4-3-2-1: A ring echoes in my bones. My bouncing legs - still, then carry me towards the hall. The pitter-patter and my heart beat, rhythmic chest compressions - forcing breath back into me.

Depression? People sometimes don't understand the intensity of having a depressive episode. Where you sulk and exclude yourself from everyone around you. Where you question your worth and existence in life. Where imagination gets the best of you. Till it reaches the point of you having hallucinations. Until it comes to the point where you wake up in an isolation room of a psychiatry ward. Alone and confused. But like we all know, everything that happens in life has a purpose. And every problem needs only one solution. And that is God. With the help of friends, family and loved ones, and faith in God, we can overcome depression. P.s. these are based on my real life experiences ;) #MagesticWingsAwards3rdPlacer

This is my sanctuary. A place where silence is translated into verse, and where the heart finds the courage to speak without fear of being misunderstood. Poetry has always been the truest vessel for the things I cannot carry in ordinary words. I return to it whenever love graces my soul, and when sorrow lingers long after its farewell. Here, every poem bears witness to a season of my life, preserving what time would have otherwise asked me to forget. I have always loved writing. Not because it grants me escape, but because it teaches me how to remain. It reminds me that every joy, every wound, every fleeting moment deserves to be remembered. If ever I lose sight of who I am, may these pages lead me back to the person who found beauty in language and solace in ink. For as long as words continue to find me, I will continue to write.
