Hunted, she thought. She was being hunted. She cried as she tripped once more, her foot catching on a log, and in that one falter, the soldier was upon her. Instantly he roughly pinned her down with a knee to her back and held a strong hand to the back of her neck. Ofelia, immediately burst into tears, thick sobs escaping to the forest. "Pa!", She yelled, weeping into the snow, "...Pa." The soldier sighed and waited. "Sir!", The same voice from before bellowed, "We must get moving!" Ofelia continued to yell out, screaming into the earth, but he only waited. He was cold. Angry. The Frost upon his knee digging into her back. Ofelia could feel his impatience, his irritation at her outburst. She laid there sobbing until she could sob no more. Until the heartbreak seeped into horror. Until she lay there staring at the roots instead. Only then, after a slow and resounding silence, did the soldier lift his knee off her, dragging her up by her arm. Ofelia followed.

I am writing this story to spread awareness. Please do not leave negative comments, it has taken all of my courage to even write it down, let alone share it.

Now, she's sitting on the edge of a rooftop with her legs dangling, a crowd gathering below, and that list in her lap. And she's going to read every name out loud. Because people always say "get over it." But no one ever asks what it costs to carry it. This is her story. Her pain. Her voice. And when she reaches the last name... everything changes.

Basically me writing what kind of trauma I think that hunter went through, but from his perspective. Trigger warning ⚠️ Physical and physiological abuse, death, gore, ptsd, general trauma and pain, Hunter's sad life. I found something similar to the cover on pintrest(I think) I basically changed it to make it look like my personal headcannons, please contact me if you know who made it so that I can give credit.
