An explosive, white-hot agony shattered my mind. I let out a blood-curdling shriek that bounced violently off the walls, my entire body convulsing. "A-A-Adrien! S-st-stop! I-I'm b-begging you!" I screamed, sobbing so hard I choked. Without a word, he lifted the rod again and shattered my right kneecap. I collapsed onto the freezing floor, my teeth clicking violently from the absolute shock. Before I could pass out, Adrien knelt over my trembling form. He shattered a thick sheet of glass against the table, holding a razor-sharp shard in his gloved hand. "You forgot whose name you carry, my dear," he whispered softly. "Let's make sure you remember." He pressed the jagged glass deep into the bare skin of my shoulder blade. I shrieked, my body locking into a rigid line as he began to deliberately engrave his name into my flesh. TRIGGER WARNING‼️‼️ This book is not ordinary dark romance novel . He obviously has no consolation skills if that's what he does to "calm" me down. When I do calm down, I stare at him angrily and kick him where he makes babies.
