It's magical/non-magical segregation, concept I made smh 0-0) Would you believe that death is better than life? Ersline does. Her country is in the grip of the iron-fisted Puritans, bent on wiping out magic forever. Ruling supreme, they force the magical people into despair, killing them piece by piece, sweeping the "impure" out of their land. But once Ersline, a seemingly harmless victim of the killing Room, goes out of control, she has the opportunity to change things. Forever.
