Watch as a young-adult Bruce Wayne struggles to be the Hero his city needs, and the one his father's company deserves. When a tornado rips through Gotham, Robin (Burt Ward) and his puppy, Toto, are whisked away in their house to the magical land of Oz. They follow the Yellow Brick Road toward the Emerald City to meet the Wizard (Paul McCartney), and en route they meet a Scare-Batgirl (Yvonne Craig) that needs a brain, a Tin Batman (Adam West) missing a heart, and a Cowardly Cat (Julie Newmar) who wants courage. The wizard asks the group to bring him the broom of the Wicked Witch of the West (Glynis Johns) to earn his help.

I reflect on what the Batman myth has meant to me for so long, how one of the two Batmen, Adam West, emphasizes such purpose, and how this animated picture uniquely tackles such ideas with all of the campy glory '60s series.
