"How many ways can a body die? Hundreds and I've experienced most of them." Tanya holds something that people would kill for: immortality. However, she is sick of living century after century without any end in sight. Desperate to live a normal lifespan, she attempts to leech the immortality out of her in the only way she can think of: by dying. These are my entries for the YAWritersUnite contest. Alia lives in 19th century England and is turning 16. Her mother is hosting a coming out ball for her at the country estate. She doesn't want to marry but her parents are pushing her to seek a suitor. But after an attack on her mother, nothing will ever be the same.
