You know that deep, sinking gut feeling you felt when you suddenly realized what you're doing is wrong and you shouldn't be doing it? That's what my gut was telling me when Collin Mathers grabbed my hand and ran faster than a fat man chasing an ice cream truck. Fun, right? Completely and utterly wrong. I kicked the leaves up as we walked along the sidewalk. For being the middle of June there was still plenty of leaves left on the ground, as if they were left behind during the fall and were trying to catch up. As we continued our walk we came a crossed a man on a bench, guitar in hand. He shoots us a smile before breaking out a find tune on his instrument. The sound of the music puts me in a dancing mood. I stretch out my hand to Owen. He raises his chocolate brows, his turquoise eyes narrowing at my outstretched hand. I let out a cackle. "Dance with me." Looking at my hand once again, his eyes meet mine as his white teeth press down on his lower lip. I swallow hard. He has got to stop doing that. "Right here, right now?" He finally speaks. I nod, widening my smile. He laughs. "You're crazy, you know that?" He still hasn't taken my hand. I shrug. "Says the one who kissed a random girl at a hotel." A smirk forms at the corners of his mouth. Biting on his lowest lip yet again, he considers this. "Fair enough." With that, he takes my hand and twirls me into him. Once Pidge tells them she's a girl, they all are starting to get interested in her. But she doesn't pay any attention to them as her blocked out memories start to come back to her. She started to go crazy and no one can save her as the prophecy states. All the members of the team fall with one left to stand. Pidge will do what ever she can to save her family and friends even if it causes her to lose her own life.
