Whether it's your first time or your seventh time, writing a novella in 12 weeks isn't easy. As a 2021 ONC Winner and two-time Honorable Mention (2023/2024), I totally understand. After years of participation and reflection, I have lots of advice to share on how I wrote a winning novella and look forward to writing every year. Inside this guide, you can find everything from insider tips to craft chats to contest commentary. So grab a cup, get your notebook, and settle in: it's time to start writing! To keep myself from losing track of: all the 2025 contests I've entered, all the 2025 contests I've volunteered myself as a judge (or let myself be volun-told into judging), all the 2025 books I've had to read as a contestant or as a judge, all the 2025 deadlines, and all the other important stuff, here is a book that registers all these 2025 things in a somewhat organized fashion. With occasional commentary. Nota bene: Although other people are welcome to browse my public contest logs and look for contests, look for information about details of contests (i.e. you want me to pour you some tea), etc, these contest logs are primarily for my own use. I enter so many contests that I can't keep track of them without a log. I forget important details, too, including things like "Note to self: You do not get along with this contest host, best not participate in their contests." Like my 2024 contest log, this was never meant to be an "expose" book. I'm not exposing anybody. Contests are matters of public record, as are any comments made in the contest books. I'm just a ditz who needs a written log to keep track of everything. I would lose my head if it wasn't attached to my shoulders. I DO NOT CONSENT TO MY POETRY AND PROSE BEING USED TO TRAIN ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

With occasional commentary. For the record, I am not Lady Whistledown, and I do not have all the gossip of the ton. Nota bene: Although other people are welcome to browse my public contest logs and look for contests, look for information about details of contests (i.e. you want me to pour you some tea), etc, these contest logs are primarily for my own use. P.S. Hi minna-chin! This is your author/manunulat, Senathren, and I want to make a safe space for everyone who can freely rant about their feelings if they are having a hard times or either good times. As well as to express my feelings and emotions through poems. I hope everyone will engage in this small platform of mine.( ◜‿◝ )♡

My Thoughts is a deeply introspective and emotionally raw exploration of unanswered questions, silent longings, and the ache of uncertainty. Through a series of heartfelt reflections, the book delves into the complexities of love, self-doubt, and the unspoken fears that linger in the depths of our minds. Each question posed is a window into the soul, capturing the pain of feeling unseen, the yearning for validation, and the bittersweet hope for answers that may never come. Written with profound vulnerability, My Thoughts is not just a book-it's an intimate conversation with the heart, a place where emotions are laid bare and the echoes of unspoken words find a voice.

I often get questions about how to write things like descriptions, how to do the show vs tell rule, and sometimes even how to properly convey a certain tone in my writing so I decided to create a writing tip book where you can request to have me talk about any questions you have about writing. I'll also be doing clichés and how to fix them if you're interested. I have two actual books called Beautiful Disasters (fanfic) and an Exorcist's Guide to the Supernatural (novel) if you're at all interested in my works. Please, enjoy and requests are open :)
