What happens when a good man makes the wrong choice?
Kael Dorn joined the Jedi Order to bring peace. Instead, he found war.
As a Jedi General in the Clone Wars, he commands the 227th Siege Battalion alongside Commander Cinder-a clone who becomes closer to him than any brother. But the war strips away Kael's ideals, piece by piece. His rivalry with the idealistic General Ava Kessler-a Jedi who refuses to sacrifice civilians for victory-forces him to confront his own darkness.
Along the way, he crosses paths with legendary Jedi: the compassionate Plo Koon, the reckless Quinlan Vos, the unorthodox Ahsoka Tano, and the monstrous Pong Krell-a warning of what Kael could become.
When Order 66 shatters everything, Kael survives-but only by surrendering to the dark side. Reborn as the Fifth Brother, he serves the Empire, hunting Jedi under the terrifying gaze of Darth Vader. Yet even in the dark, the memory of Ava's sacrifice haunts him.
This is not a redemption story. This is a tragedy.
The galaxy will remember him as an Inquisitor. But his clones remember him as a brother.
Note: I don't own the rights to any of the canon Star Wars characters and locations, they belong to Disney and Lucasfilm Ltd, except my own original characters including Kael Dorn who would become the Fifth Brother.
