From then, my life began to spiral out of control and I was finally exposed to the world of my heritage; the world that I was destined to find. And it was all within my mirror. ----- A Beautiful Evil: What happens when you meet the same girl twice, once to be the most beautiful person you have ever seen and then to be an evil mystery. ----- Leaders: The war is reducing the world to ashes and humanities only hope is a group of twelve children, destined to rule. Each possessing a single quality that is necessary to prevent the downfall of all people, they are now the leaders. ----- It Was All My Fault: On a day off from school, I got to go with my mum to the secluded labratory where she works. Story story. [Aim to Engage 2021 Speculative Fiction] Prompt: A large hole has opened up in the center of your town. People say they can hear whispers coming from down below. The last time a team of explorers went to investigate, they disappeared.

An 'Aim to Engage' sci-fi story of exactly 500 words. °°° Don't get me wrong. I had plenty of ambition when I graduated from Deimos Flight Academy with dual degrees in Aeronautical Engineering and Navigation. Then, the goal was clear, join the Brigade and help further humanity's knowledge of the Terran solar system our ancestors colonized. Maybe even find proof of alien lifeforms. But as it turns out, you can only 'boldly go' if you've already boldly gone to the right schools. So you make do, as they say. Piloting a freighter for Virago might not have been the plan, but at least it pays the bills. Even if the company is a soul-sucking mega-corporation that likes to treat its employees no different than the commodities that it resells, packs, and delivers. Paid on the cheap and shipped for free anywhere in the known galaxy. Which brings me here, millions of miles from home in the outer reaches of our system, gawking alongside the delivery guys at something we shouldn't be transporting. Oh god, I should've never taken this job. °°° Highest Rank: #2 in 'Aim to Engage'

Siri was sure to have found her soulmate, Lio. But when her mark appeared, her beliefs came out to be wrong. She now has the choice between living her love story with Lio or waiting for her soulmate to come to her.

Crocs from Hell - A young detective tries to find the cause of mass kidnappings during recent times. The odd part? The kidnappings were done out in the open. By crocodiles. Zombies + Love - What would you do if the love of your life got bitten by a zombie right in front of you? Would you make the hard choice, or succumb to love? What Caused the Extinction of Dinosaurs? - Exactly as the title says, just my spin on how the dinos got wiped out from the earth. The scenario makes a great prompt if you think about it! Atlantis Will Rise Again - What happened to the ancient city of Atlantis? Why'd it sink? How advanced was this mythical city? All these questions are answered in this flash fiction. (I guessed obviously. I'm not that old.) The Box - A scavenger finds a rather deadly item on one of his scavenging trips. Nuclear Devastation - A post apocalyptic world. Ghouls. What's the mystery? Mt. Lycan - The citizens of Selene never dare to venture up the heights of Mt. Lycan. The legends were too terrifying. What horrors reside at the highest peak of the highest mountain near Selene? Maid to Heroine - An ordinary maid gains powers in the midst of battle between demons and humans. How will she respond? The Abnormal Meteor Shower - A couple spot a star in the sky that shines brighter than the moon itself. And it's getting bigger. Nyza - Earth from the eyes of an alien.
