Kisah awalnya, saat buku masih 256 terbuka sedang di intip oleh iblis bernama Zazel yang berhasil memasuki ruangan "waktu semesta" dalam bentuk cicak untuk mencuri informasi dengan kemampuannya yang bisa sedikit membaca, kemudian kaget saat malaikat pembersih datang dan Zazel secara tidak sengaja malah merubah dirinya kembali ke wujud aslinya dan menyenggol buku 255 yang sudah tertutup dan buku 256 yang masih terbuka diatas meja, hingga isi salah tiga benang halus di 256 yang salah satunya mewakilkan kehidupanku terhempas keluar dari 256 dan di letakkan oleh malaikat pembersih ke buku Hamparan 255 yang juga jatuh terbuka, Zazel pun kabur bersama informasi yang di dapatkannya
