Ajabde and Pratap inspired by Through Time and Tide by @moonstrucksnuffles I am making a few minor edits whereas the plot credit goes to the og author. Here is the description Ajabde never meant to change history. When sixteen-year-old Ajabde Mamruk loses everything to the British Raj, she makes a desperate choice-to use her parents' greatest invention and travel into the past. Her destination: the kingdom of Mewar, and the era of the legendary Kunwar Pratap. But history is far different from the stories she grew up hearing. Surrounded by palace intrigue, hidden ambitions, looming wars, and secrets that could alter the fate of an entire kingdom, Ajabde finds herself standing beside the very man she once admired from the pages of history. The future already knows how his story ends. The question is: can she bear to change it?

This is an English novelisation of the television show Jodha-Akbar. "So much has changed in these 400 years, right? The way of living life has changed too." As if to comfort her, he states, "But the tale of Jodha Akbar's love has not changed; this sun has not changed who is a witness to this story, and even 400 years later people are still talking of our love". Disclaimer: The story and its characters are not mine; they belong to the original show. The plot follows the show, and this is almost a scene-by-scene novelisation of the original work. This is a non-commercial fan work. That being said, I wrote this because I wanted to try my hand at writing and had no good original ideas whatsoever. I was rewatching Jodha-Akbar and almost fell into a loop of watching it again and again so I thought of reading any fanfiction. However, I couldn't find anything that satisfied me, and everything paled in comparison to canon. A random reel on my Instagram gave me the suggestion to novelise a show to improve my writing and description skills, so I decided to do this. I hope that even though the story is known to all, this novelisation can bring something new, and you all have as much fun reading it as I had while writing.
