This is an English novelisation of the television show Jodha-Akbar. "So much has changed in these 400 years, right? The way of living life has changed too." As if to comfort her, he states, "But the tale of Jodha Akbar's love has not changed; this sun has not changed who is a witness to this story, and even 400 years later people are still talking of our love". Disclaimer: The story and its characters are not mine; they belong to the original show. The plot follows the show, and this is almost a scene-by-scene novelisation of the original work. This is a non-commercial fan work. That being said, I wrote this because I wanted to try my hand at writing and had no good original ideas whatsoever. I was rewatching Jodha-Akbar and almost fell into a loop of watching it again and again so I thought of reading any fanfiction. However, I couldn't find anything that satisfied me, and everything paled in comparison to canon. A random reel on my Instagram gave me the suggestion to novelise a show to improve my writing and description skills, so I decided to do this. I hope that even though the story is known to all, this novelisation can bring something new, and you all have as much fun reading it as I had while writing.

I could hear voices around me, voices which I didn't recognize. Thinking that I might be in a hospital, I tried to open my eyes. But, they refused to obey. After a lot of struggle, I successfully opened my eyes to thank the doctor for saving me. However, the view in front confused me. Never have I ever been to a hospital with a such a wonderful ceiling and no ceiling fan? Shaking away the thoughts, I turned to the doctor to thank him/her. However, I couldn't find the doctor. The people standing near the door were busy in some discussion. I was about to call someone when my eyes fell on a reflective surface shocking me. I blinked a few times. But, the image still remained the same. Before I could ponder over the possibilities, a voice brought the discussion to a halt forcing them to turn towards me. It said 'Jodha'. I blinked a few times before blacked out. Hey, I am back with a Akdha Fanfic this time. Hope you like it.

This is basically a Conti fic and the story follows from the attack on Jalaal in the forest where Jodha had removed the bullets from his gun. This fiction was originally posted on India Forums by Princess Flavia/ Chhalki Syaahi. Yes, I am still alive and kicking but I couldn't complete this due to numerous reasons. However, this was too good a fic to be left incomplete so I shifted it to Wattpad. Whenever I post a new update, it will be done on both the sites. The story is written in English but the dialogues are in Hindi and Urdu.
