I covered my ears and looked at the direction where the noise came from. A coffin a few rows down, its lid seems to shuffle as a pair of white rabbit ears poke out to reveal a person with rabbit ears and a expression of panick. "Oh dear, oh dear-" They look around rapidly, "Empty? Am I early?... Am I late?! Oh me.., oh my!" They get out of their coffin and look in a few coffins, without even noticing me- wait! they're wearing the same robe! they must know where we are!... maybe? "Excuse me.., uuh rabbit sir? ma'am?" I attempt to grab their attention, they don't bat an eye. They continue to check coffin, "Empty.., empty.., empty! they're all empty!" Their stress levels seem to get 10 times higher as they look at their cartoonishly large pocket watch. "I'm late, I'm late, I'm absolutely LATE!!!! Oh the Queen, The Queen! She would've had my head off for such a foolish mistake!!!" They sob loudly and in much more panick, "Excuse me! I-" "I'M LATE, I'M LATE!!!" They rush out in a frantic way. All I could was stare at where they once were. '...what just happened?...' I thought. -------- I do not own Twisted Wonderland, enjoy!

Following the brutal murder of Jest, the latest court joker of Hearts, Catherine grieves his passing day by day as nothing but a hollow queen with no love to spare. Note: These are not my original characters or fandom, as I am writing a second part to Marissa Meyer's book "Heartless", which dives into the origin story of how the Queen of Hearts came to be. I highly recommend reading it if you have not already, and I take any constructive criticism that you all have to offer. "Handle with Care" is a fan-fiction (a very innocent one) that follows Alice (Alice Madness Returns) and P (Lies of P) in their journey of recovery, understanding of feelings, and finding themselves. The story will take place after the events from both universes. Each character struggles with their own mental and personal problems while battling past traumas and self destruction. We will see two different points of view from what it means to love. Alice feels everything or nothing, sees everything in black and white, going from 100 to 0 in matter of seconds. And then there's P, a puppet that lost the one guiding his strings. He lost those who helped him understand humanity and sentiment, feeling the weight of losing Sophie and emotionally detaching himself. Both of our own characters will have a small journey until they cross paths. This may not be a love story how you might imagine. It will be full of psychological events, mental health problems, and may be a bit triggering for most readers, so consider this a warning for those that suffer of some mental issues or can't stand triggers. I will write this story from the point of view of someone that suffers from BPD (Borderline Personality Disorder) and encountered emotionally detached people. And, perhaps most importantly, this story would never have been possible without my boyfriend, who introduced me to Lies of P.🦋💙
