Kaum Nabi Luth melakukan berbagai kejahatan yang tidak biasa dilakukan oleh penjahat manapun. Mereka merampok dan berkhianat kepada sesama teman serta berwasiat dalam kemungkaran. Bahkan catatan kejahatan mereka ditambah dengan keja¬hatan baru yang belum pernah terjadi di muka bumi. Mereka memadamkan potensi kemanusiaan mereka dan daya kreatifitas yang ada dalam diri mereka.
