This fanfic meshes the song, the film's dialogue, and some original content to flesh out some of the scenes. This fic uses direct quotes from Taylor Swift's music, mostly from the song All Too Well. The film shows the creepy age gap between Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhall when they dated and highlights "the man's" (he's an unnamed character in the short film and in this fic) manipulation and emotional abuse. If people end up reading this, I'll create a whole story charting the Girl and Man's relationship and backstories.
