Two people. One connection that was never given a name. Where Lonely People Go? is a quiet, aching story about almost-love-the kind that grows slowly between late-night conversations, familiar silences, and feelings neither person was brave enough to confess. But just when "maybe" starts to feel real, timing pulls them apart before anything can truly begin. Because sometimes, the hardest heartbreak is not losing someone you had- but losing someone who almost became yours.

They were never officially together. But everyone knew. In high school, theirs was the kind of almost-relationship that lived in lingering stares, late-night calls, shared secrets, and confessions spoken too softly to survive the years. They loved each other in every way that mattered-just never in the way that counted. No labels. No anniversaries. Nothing permanent enough to hold onto once life pulled them apart. So she did the only thing she could: She wrote to him. Through college, heartbreak, birthdays, lonely midnights, and years that refused to feel new, she filled countless pages with words she never had the courage to send. Letters addressed to the boy who once promised her forever in everything but name. Until one night, at their high school reunion, she sees him again. Older. Familiar. And already in love with someone else. Now forced to confront the difference between memory and reality, she begins to realize that while he became a chapter of her past, she made him her entire story.

A snowstorm. A single room. Two strangers with nowhere else to go. When Alya takes refuge from the blizzard in a small inn nestled in the countryside, she doesn't expect to share the last vacant room with Levi-introverted, kindhearted, and gentle. What begins as an uneasy silence gradually unfolds into a night filled with confessions, stories, and secrets spoken under the promise that by dawn, they will go their separate ways. For Alya, the ocean represents a wound she has never spoken of-until Levi's presence coaxes out the story she has carried for years. For Levi, Alya is the first person to see past his charm and recognize the loneliness that lies beneath. By morning, both of them understand that this night will linger in their minds, no matter how far they run. Sometimes, the weightiest burdens aren't the words left unspoken; they're the "almosts" and the "what could have been." Yet, they part ways without exchanging last names or contact information. Will their paths ever cross? Or would that one night be forgotten?

in which Daisy Whitlock was never meant to be noticed. just another Hufflepuff face in a sea of gold- quiet, forgettable, easy to overlook. until Mattheo Riddle starts watching her. not obviously. not in a way anyone else would catch. just in the way his eyes always seem to find her. in the way his voice changes when he says her name. in the way he stays-just a second too long. it doesn't mean anything. it can't. because Mattheo Riddle doesn't believe in softness. doesn't believe in kindness. and definitely doesn't linger. but somewhere between detentions, late mornings, and conversations that shouldn't matter- he does. #1 in #almost 3.27.26 #1 in #trains 5.6.26 #1 in #wizardingworld 5.13.26

It started quietly. Late-night conversations. Shared glances. Small moments that slowly became something neither of them knew how to name. While Han Y/n was falling for the version of Jeon Jungkook that felt almost normal- the rest of the world was preparing him for something far darker. An empire built on blood. Power hidden beneath expensive suits. A life he never wanted, yet inherited anyway. And somewhere along the way- he changed. Colder. Sharper. Untouchable. But through all of it, his eyes still searched for her first. Until the night everything ended. No confession. No argument. Just Y/n standing in a crowded ballroom, watching another woman beside him- beautiful, official, belonging to his world in ways she never could. So she left. Another country. Another life. Another version of herself built far away from Jeon Jungkook and the danger attached to his name. Years later, he became exactly what people feared. Powerful. Ruthless. A man whispered about in lowered voices. But somehow- he still couldn't forget her. "You disappeared." "You noticed?" That was the problem. He did. Too much. And by the time Jeon Jungkook realized that what he felt for Han Y/n had become something dangerously close to obsession- it was already too late to let her go.

They started as nothing. Two kids in a quiet neighborhood where dreams felt too big and life moved too fast. Julian Carter was destined for greatness-the kind of boy people believed in before he even proved himself. Football was his way out. His promise. His everything. Diana Ly was different. Quiet. Brilliant. Untouchable in a way no one could quite understand. While he fought his way forward, she built hers in silence-law books, late nights, and a future that didn't include distractions. But somehow... they became each other's almost. Late nights in the library. Feet brushing under the table. Words never said. And a jar of origami stars-each one holding a wish they were too afraid to speak out loud. Until the night everything changed. Julian gets the call. The NFL. His dream. His way out. His family is crying. Screaming. Holding him like they'll never let go. And Diana... walks away. She doesn't look back. By the time he realizes, she's already gone. And no matter how fast he runs- he's too late. Now he has everything he ever wanted. Fame. Money. Power. But the one person who mattered most? She became the one thing he couldn't have. Years later, they meet again- not as the kids they once were, but as two people shaped by choices, distance, and everything they never said. Because some love stories don't end. They break. And sometimes... they come back when it hurts the most.

"I spent years thinking fate was kind for bringing you back to me. I didn't know it was only teaching me how cruel timing could be. Out of everyone in this city, you were the one person who felt like home without trying. And somehow, just when I finally learned your name the way a person says something precious, life started taking you away from me. I think the saddest part is knowing we could've been everything to each other if the universe had only been a little less late." -Lucien De Vera "I think loving you was the gentlest thing that ever happened to me, and maybe that's why it hurts so much to leave. You came into my life at the exact moment I finally understood what love was supposed to feel like - safe, quiet, real. But the universe gave me you when my time was already running out. And if I could hate anything, it would be this: that after spending years almost finding each other, we finally did... only for me to become another memory you have to survive without." -Elia Reyes

Not all stories starts with once upon a time, Some stories begin with almost. Almost forever. Almost ours. They met as neighbors during lockdown-just two teens falling into something unexpected, something real. No grand confessions. Just quiet moments: shared jokes, secret glances, long walks under curfew skies, and whispered aishiterus in borrowed time. For nearly three years, they held on-through strict parents, hidden meetups, and goodbyes at dusk. His family became hers. Their dreams grew side by side. But life pulled them apart. He left for Canada. They tried-calls, letters, surprise gifts. But some goodbyes don't come all at once. Some unravel slowly, until one day, they simply stop. Now, his scent still lingers on the jacket he left behind. Her drawer still holds the teddy bear and flower box-tiny graves of a love that almost made it. This isn't a fairytale. This is the story of two people who loved deeply, quietly- and of a love that almost was theirs.

They say you never forget the people who almost loved you. Maybe that's why, even years later, his name still sat quietly in the back of my mind-like a pen I kept inside my favorite pouch, never using, never throwing away. Miguel Reyes. My almost. The boy who used to walk me home from class but never got to hold my hand. The boy who made my heart feel too loud for my chest. The boy I pushed away because I swore I had to focus on school. The boy who didn't wait. And now, I'm twenty-two. Employed. Exhausted. Still awkward. Still in love with purple. Still hoarding pens. Still listening to old playlists like they're some kind of emotional CPR. I've moved on. Or so I thought. Until that Saturday morning at an outreach program I didn't even want to attend, when I saw him again. And everything I locked away came rushing back like a forgotten song on shuffle.

Bakit nga ba pinagtatagpo ang dalawang tao kung hindi naman pala sila para sa isa't isa? Ang kadalasang sagot ay, 'Some people come into your life not to stay, but to teach you a lesson.' And that's what hurts the most. But for me, nothing hurts more than a love that almost happened. Maraming what ifs, maraming regrets, at higit sa lahat... mahirap ang umusad lalo na at wala kang pinanghahawakan. It's hard to lose someone who was never yours to begin with. The pain of letting go of them even before you get the chance to hold them is excruciating. Loving someone who isn't sure about you is like standing between faded lines. Hindi mo alam kung saan ka lulugar o kung ano ka lang sa kanila. How can I stop someone from letting go of me when he already decided and the end handed it to me to accept? I guess I'll forever stand between these faded lines... questioning my worth and why it didn't work out for us.

"There are times you win, there are times you lose. But there should never be a time you give up. Quitting is an option given to cowards who only know how to turn back and run. The powerful never quit. They move forward. I moved forward." Her stare didn't waver, didn't soften nor show any emotion. It stayed glittering in the darkness, slowly pulling him in."Then why do you look like you're ready to bolt?" "Oh, didn't I mention?" He smiled weakly. "I am now a coward." Life is good. Correction: Life WAS good. Well, at least for Gray Anderson. After the incident that transpired a year before, he had turn into a zombie. Scary zombie. The ghost of his past all-smile and positive self have become a passing memory, replaced by a depressing and angry hermit who doesn't want anything to do with the rest of the world. Tired and alone, he is driven to the edge by everything he went through. He's about to give up... Then his sense of obligation blackmailed him into doing the last thing he wants to do: Travel. Enters the queen of nosiness and hilarity, Liz Demiro. After receiving an offer to work for the top social magazine in the city, she's close to reaching her dream but she has to pass a test first. Her trial: write the latest story about the city's most popular crashed and burned businessman, who also happens to be her fantasy. Something she is and is not looking forward to. Both force into a journey they don't want to take, Gray and Liz will discover a new world, new people and what possibly might be, new love. Although, with an annoying boss, an old flame, a deadly assassin and especially, a persistent match-making mother on the side, their journey is about to be a bumpy one. Will they finally reach their stars and dreams or will they turn out to be just another blazing comets in the night, destine to burn out and disappear?
