This is a story about a small beach town, and one girl within it.

Danielle Mitchells lives off of the the wet sand and cold water that California has to offer. But after finding out her parents are having "problems", she is forced to live with her sister in British Columbia for a year until things "work out". At the start she couldn't be more excited for the one year duration to be over. But after meeting a boy, learning more about herself, and finally knowing the secret her family's been hiding from her..... will she want to leave?

Holy shit I hate it here, the world is messed up, I'm falling apart, and I'm afraid to say getting lost in the world of TikTok isn't really helping. Hello friend and welcome to my crazy little book full of random things and thoughts, sometimes I'm serious and sometimes you will not even no what the heck I'm saying, sometimes I vent, sometimes I get philosophical, and some other fun crap. I'm kinda new to writing and I'm kinda loose with the keys so hang in there pleaseeee. So come on this little journey with me, I can't promise it will be amazing or even a little bit exciting but at this point I'm just gonna keep on writing until the world is a little less shitty. Sonny Presley was an easy-going, full of life girl. She loved her family and had a great appreciation for just living life to its greatest potential. She wanted a romance like her parents, but she was by no means looking for love. Well, that was until she and her family moved back to Lakeview. That's when she met Parker Weston. Though when people asked, she insisted that he was only being friendly to the new girl in town, but she was only kidding herself. How could she not fall for such a sweetheart? And even though he could drive her crazy, how could she not be along for the ride?

This is my chapter for the 'Along for the Ride' competition. This chapter is written in Jesse's POV and I really hope that people enjoy reading it. It is not a very long chapter but I think that it gets the point of this chapter across. I wish that I could have written more but I'm afraid that I am to rapped up in my studies at the minute.
