Amara has always longed for adventure and when threats begin to arise all over Middle Earth, Amara follows her father to Mirkwood in search of answers. Sa paanan ng Sierra Madre sa Luzon, isang batang babae ang nawala sa gitna ng malakas na bagyo. Walang nakakaalam kung saan siya nagmula, at mas lalong walang nakakaalam kung bakit siya tila "may halaga" na hindi dapat basta-basta mawala. Lumaki siya bilang si Amara Ysabella de la Santísima Cruz, isang dalagang sanay sa hirap, dasal, at tahimik na pangarap. Pero habang tumatagal, may mga piraso ng nakaraan na pilit bumabalik sa kanya-isang locket na walang malinaw na pinanggalingan, mga taong tila kilala siya pero biglang umiiwas, at mga pangyayaring hindi na basta coincidence. Hanggang sa isang araw, mabangga niya ang isang mundo na hindi niya dapat pinapasok. Hanggang sa unti-unting mabunyag ang katotohanan na matagal nang tinatago-hindi lang siya basta ulila... may dugong maharlika na pilit itinago ng kasaysayan. Pero hindi lahat ay handang tanggapin ang katotohanan. Sa mundo ng mga Datu, Lakan, at Dayang, ang kapangyarihan ay hindi basta ibinibigay-ipinaglalaban ito.
