Here is an extract from my unpublished novel 'Dinosaur Girl' which precedes my 'Deeper Realms' series, available on Amazon Kindle. The novel follows anxious paleontologist Eve Wells, recruited by mysterious time traveler Ravenna Friere, to use her knowledge of prehistoric animals to identify a creature terrorizing a Siberian dig site. In all honesty, I wrote this scene at least a year before the very excellent 'Rosa' episode of Dr Who, in which Jodie Whittaker's eponymous character makes a quip regarding a certain anarchic British street artist - and so I can firmly say, Ravenna got there first, and that any similarities are literally parallel evolution of a time traveling idea!
