{Book 1} The Serpentine War ends in tragedy; most of the next generation of Elemental Masters orphaned, their parents ripped away from them. Some were lucky enough to be taken up by a wise man and his wife or other families. But there's more to the story than a few fluff moments and it's up to Zane, Kai, Cole, Jay, Nya and Lloyd to figure out what in the FSM is going on‽ FYI; This is an AU. Inspired by @Nya714 and her co writer @Ice-Ninja book 'Brothers by blood'.

Opening Prologue - "Thirteen" The Loom of Stories stretches into infinity, each golden thread glowing with moments of heroism, tragedy, and choice. Mosi Carter, cloaked in his Kwaku Anansi regalia, walks among them. His gaze halts on a single fraying strand. On it, two figures - Burnout and Fairchild - both battered, bloodied, and moments from death. Their hands clutch one another in a broken battlefield, surrounded by fire and silence. A sharp pain jolts through Anansi's chest. Not his pain - theirs. A bond deeper than friendship, deeper than teammates - siblings. The number 13 blazes into the void above them. Mosi Carter (narration): "Some stories hurt when you touch them. This one... burns. But maybe... maybe this time the ending isn't theirs to write alone." He spins his hand over the dying scene, weaving a new golden thread into the tapestry. The blood fades, the battlefield dissolves - and the story rewinds to before it all went wrong. ⸻ Series Premise In this Anansiverse retelling, Genesis 13 follows the rise of the next generation of Gen-Active heroes - the children of the infamous Team 7. The Gen-Factor, a lethal biochemical forged from the DNA of cross-reality nomad Sigma, has turned them into living weapons. The government calls them subjects. The world calls them dangerous. But to each other, they are family. This timeline reshapes history: Burnout (Matthew Callahan) and Caitlin Fairchild are siblings - survivors of an escape from Project: Genesis. Unlike the original Wildstorm timeline, Anansi's thread alters key events: they escape together, discover other Gen-Actives before I.O. can hunt them down, and are united under a reluctant mentor - John Lynch.

Do you ever feel like you're living the worst day of your life over and over again? And that, if you could somehow do things differently, get it right this time, you might finally be free? Jason Durand is a bodyguard, tasked with protecting a politician and his daughters, in one of the most inhospitable places on earth: the mountain-island of Mosken in northern Norway, which is uninhabited, choked in mist, and guarded by treacherous tidal currents. But his life on the island isn't what it seems. There are strange repetitions in the patterns of the clouds, bouts of déjà vu that leave him gasping, and - weirdest of all - a flock of black birds that mob him every morning like an avian alarm clock. And then his worst enemy - the cockney contract killer he's supposed to be guarding against - tells him they're both prisoners, and offers him a deal...

Tagline: Every story is alive. Every thread is a choice. Synopsis: After the events of Killspeed FlashPoint, Mosi Carter fully embraces his role as Kwaku Anansi, guardian of the Loom of Stories. But the threads of reality still tremble. Out of the disturbance come the Unwoven Kids-Kwame, Ayo, Jahlani, Zuberi, and Anansewa-five children born of fractured timelines, tied to Mosi's essence and each carrying a shard of his spider-god power. They are dangerous, unpredictable, and essential to restoring balance. As Mosi mentors the children, he wrestles with his own past mistakes and glimpses cryptic visions of Aso, the woman destined to become his wife. With the Sandman as a guide to dreams and myths, and Papa Midnite channeling new magic into the web, Mosi realizes the Unwoven Kids are both a gift and a warning: if they cannot learn unity, the Loom will tear again, unraveling creation itself. At the same time, Mosi begins to form the Justice League Ashanti, a team forged not from gods or legends alone, but from those who understand the cost of weaving reality. Old allies and new heroes gather under his leadership, preparing for a coming storm that even Anansi's web may not contain in his web.

When Ama returns to her mother's village for her grandmother's funeral, she expects grief, old memories, and maybe the awkward warmth of relatives she barely remembers. What she doesn't expect is the silence-the uneasy kind that hangs over the town like fog. It's been ten years since Ama last set foot in Nyamekye, a village whispered to be protected by the old spider god, Kweku Ananse. But the moment she arrives, strange things begin to happen: webs appearing overnight across sacred trees, villagers murmuring about curses, and shadows that seem to move when no one's looking. As Ama delves deeper into her grandmother's past, she unravels secrets buried beneath generations of fear and deceit-secrets that tie her bloodline to Ananse himself. Caught between the world of the living and the realm of spirits, Ama must confront the truth: some webs are spun not to trap prey, but to keep something far darker from escaping. In Ananse's Web, myth meets mystery in a haunting tale of legacy, deception, and the price of uncovering what was meant to stay hidden.

Short folk story. All she knew was laughter. Silalela! The men of her village looked away. "Pah!" They said, "She is impure! Her spirit has no breath. What has she given us, but laughter? What will she ever take, but joy?" The wise inyanga pressed his palm to her heart. "It is cold," he said, "You must warm your heart before any man will desire it." "Yebo!" She cried, "Then that is what I shall do!" This was written as an exercise in writing a performance-style folk tale in a style we're not familiar with. I don't know much about the Zulu culture apart from enjoying their stories, so I am sure there are errors. If there are any please let me know as I'm here to learn!
