Sam Anderson had two dreams: go to Nationals and finally talk to the cute boy at the coffee shop. One of them required hours at the rink perfecting her Axels. The other required courage she wasn't sure she had. Sam Anderson was just your average sixteen-year-old girl. She was pretty, talented, popular, and great at parties. Sam had everything she could ever want. Except maybe her mom, who made it her life mission to mold Sam into the perfect smart daughter she wasn't. When her friends turn their backs on her? When her chances at Nationals feels further away than ever? And when suddenly CG's long-lost stepbrother Raphael appears in the picture, determined to stir up trouble whenever Sam goes? Sam wanted two things: Nationals and the cute boy at the coffee shop. She might not get either.

As things go im the "I don't give a shit overachiever". Isn't that contradictory, ha well that's just the half of it. So if this is the case and I seemingly "don't care" then why did I develop my eating disorders. Well lets just say you simply cant judge eating disorders as vanity orientated, that is unless ur an un-educated spas . Sadly im not as invincable as id like. I needed a space to write how it feels to go through recovery, how its changed me for the better, and how difficult it was for myself to realise I had a problem. I want to help others like me so here we go, read to join my dark humoured ride.

Luella can physically appear to be your average young kid, but inside, a lot more is happening. Sickle Cell Anemia had only JUST started control her everyday life when her bodily health took a downfall. Because of how severe this disease is, she is aware she might not be able to have as long as a lifespan as others, but still sticks to her regimen knowing it won't really be worth it in the end. Archie, her best (and only) friend has tried his best to stick with her through everything, knowing the person she used to be, but since she was sick, she felt she'd never ever be the same person.

I want to tell my story of illness and hopefully inspire someone who is also sick to tell their story :)
