He was rarely around for his family before the apocalypse occurred. The day the apocalypse started, his father died of cancer. Him and his brother, David, got in a fight because Javi failed to make it home in time to say goodbye. His father reanimated as a walker shortly after his passing and bit Javi's mother in the cheek. David took their mom to the hospital, which resulted in Javi not seeing him again for years to come. I was disappointed that in the scene where Javi cuts Clementine's hair (the version where Gabe dies) they took out the dialogue where Javi told Clem that Gabe liked her so I rewrote the scene and added some more dialogue.

This story is about what happens after season 3 of The Walking Dead Game: A New Frontier. It focuses on Javi surviving with Kate and Gabe, and the challenges that they face in Richmond.

As a sequel to "Reunited: A Gabentine Story", this story takes place jut two months after the end of the first book as Clem and Gabe spend most of their time either belong out the community or especially taking care and raising their children. But when Alexandria gets attacked by a group of raiders, they and their friends are back on the road until they come across a new community called, "The Safe Haven". After this Clem and Gabe take it amongst themselves to do whatever it takes to protect their children, themselves, and each other.

Clem was an ordinary girl going into grade nine that had just moved from her home in Georgia to Baltimore where she would attend a new high school that is far from her new home so she has to live there with a new roommate, but she has the room to her self for the first day. But everyone else had a roommate. She was waiting for her roommate to come. Would she be nice, would she be mean, Clem thought. But her roommate arrived and they weren't what she was expecting.
