Once upon a time, there was a average teenage girl by the name of Catherine (Cassie, as her mom calls her) Wool living her normal life in California, going to the beaches with her best friends and calling her boyfriend about every hour about the latest homework assignment. (She was that bored.) Then, one day as she and her friends bike over to the beach, Cassie saw something sparkle in the water. "Hey, guys, check this out!" "Ooh, sparkly! Can I touch?" "Oh my goodness, Dorothy! You are as dumb as you look!" "Am not!" "Am too!" "Am not!" "Am too!" "Am no--!" Cassie glared at Trisha and Dorothy, "You guys! Stop your dumb argument and check this out!" The three girls stepped closer to the sparkly water. "I wonder if it has always been like this and we have never noticed before..." However, the other girls were too busy splashing in the water; fighting to see who had the cutest swimsuit. Cassie rolled her eyes and continued to stare at the water in concentration. "....Hey, you jerk! Stop pushing me, Trish! Whoa, I am going to fall!" Then, all of a sudden, Cassie felt herself being pushed head first into the water without any notice. It was so sudden, she barely noticed. Everything went black.
