Bullying comes in many forms, and all of them are just as hurtful. It is not desirable, and certainly isn't something we must simply resign ourselves to. Yet, we do not have a fail-safe solution that might rid humanity of this threat. However bleak things may seem, there's nothing stopping us from taking baby steps towards making the world a little better. A nice comment on someone's message board can make their bad day turn into a good one. Just a little bit of your time can make good memories. But sometimes, talking directly to others can be awkward. If you're a writer, maybe someone can read your works and smile today! So come on in and enter the monthly writing contest from Project Appreciate!

Just think about how much time, effort and energy we waste wanting to be something we're not or trying to have the impossible. Yes, there are things we can change and it's always good to aspire to be better in some way, shape or form, but there's also a magic and beauty in just reveling in the wonders of what we have right here, right now- that's what this one's about :)
