Elyas hates Christmas, to the point where he would not go see his mother for the last time. Then there is Holly, who loves Christmas to death, and is determined to get Elyas home before it's too late. Holly is willing to do everything to help Elyas, even if she needs to wish on all the Christmas miracles in the world. Time only goes one way, can she persuade Elyas in time?

This is a brand new one I wrote yesterday, that I thought I'd share. It's dedicated to anyone who's had a rubbish day or has felt low for a while. It hit me that life is full of little moments of pure joy, small nuggets of miracle, innocence and fun. They're in the moments that pass us by, we overlook, take for granted, forget about. But they are there. As much as I love films, social media, computer games, books, songs etc as much as the next person, sometimes- to really feel positive and happy again-we need to focus and truly be mindful of what life blesses us with- instead of concentrating on the curve-balls it throws us.

Life for most of us is mundane, we eat, sleep, work and repeat. But through the cracks, if we know where to look, how to appreciate them, are certain moments that stay with us forever, magical and unique to us for whatever reason. As we're so lucky to have these moments when not everyone does, I wrote this to help me remember all the stolen moments I've been lucky enough to enjoy.

#84 in rank for Inspirational (May 30,2021) One time, a first year college student was asked by her acquaintance. "What course did you take up for your college?" The girl replied, " Maestra lang." And BOOM, my ears heat up as she answered the question. How dare she is for accompanying the word "Maestra" with "lang". JUST a Teacher? Really? Does she know the hardships and sacrifices our teachers has to take just to be in their positions? Spending an average of 8 hours at school and as they went home, their role of being a teacher won't just end. At home, they still make reports, At home, they still compute grades, At home, they still do their lesson planning. Thus, no one should dare to accompany teaching as a profession with "Maestra Lang!" ------------------------------------------------------------ This poem is dedicated to all the teachers and aspiring reachers out there. You all deserve to be respected and appreciated.
