Art is life is art is politics is psychology. . . These are poems that dig deep at the prejudices and preconceptions of human beings. Politics weave through all our lives at every level, whether in our personal relationships, workplaces, or out in public.

Cultural appropriation is a hot topic right now, but it's not as simple as some people--on either side--are making it out to be. This is a detailed and balanced approach to understanding the cultural appropriation issue, one based on both deep respect for multiculturalism and the need for freedom of expression and natural cultural borrowing.

Cultural appropriation is when people take things with cultural significance for there own entertainment and profit. Most of the time this occurs because that certain something is deemed as cool or high fashioned. And most of the time it goes un-noticed that cultures are plagiarizing each other and it's not because they appreciate each other. I do not own any characters and plot from the series, only the fictional events compiled in this novella.
