An escape, that's all anyone needs to get through life. For Faye Clement it's pot to escape from being alone and a never quiet mind For Emery Blanchard it's art to escape her overbearing parents and being the new girl These two will come together for an assignment for school. They must do a human study, what helps a person escape, they choose to not only record other's escape, but experience it for themselves. Will their differences push them apart or will they become more than just friends and all over what, just some school assignment?

Sophia Thomas is known as the shy nerd that only has one friend. She is an introvert that avoids any need to talk to anyone who she does not know that well. Will the new kid in class change Sophia or will she just be another girl in the popular girl's shadow.
