Gabriel Reyes was many things. A soldier. A founding member of Overwatch. A friend. A comrade. But one title he never thought he'd have was "Father". This is the story of how Gabriel Reyes became a Father out of the blue to a young Jesse McCree. This is also the story of his downfall. Please note that this story goes with the Overwatch canon timeline as best as possible. The ages are all accurate to the point of the story they are in. In this you will see Overwatch rise and fall. Blackwatch. The Deadlock Gang. And most importantly, Team Talon. Updates will not be regular and for that I apologize. Please also note that this was written before Echo and her lore was announced so Liao is written as my own headcanon before she was announced.

When Ashe's mother dies in an untimely accident, her whole world starts falling apart. Her father starts avoiding her and now weird voices and visions start plaguing her dreams. Her only sources of comfort is her Aunt Sarah and her best friend Nalani but even they won't be able to explain what's happening to her. Now 7 years after her mothers death, things have started to become normal or as normal as it would seem. But ever since the start of her sophomore year, a young boy keeps appearing in her dreams along with a young girl that she is sure was definitely her. Imagine her surprise when the two new transferred students in her year look exactly like the boy. Mysterious Daniel whose eyes seem to contain far more than he would say. Or sweet Tristan whose confidence and persistence convince you there would always be a way. Will one of them be able to help her? Or will she fall prey to her tainted blood?
