Yes, I finally did it! A Pokemon fanfic of Ash getting serious after the Battle Frontier Arc and training before going to Sinnoh. There will be the Tauros trade and aura training. A smarter, pokemon ranger, aura guardian Ash Ketchum. Ash will be paired off with a guy. If you don't like it, don't read. I still don't know which. You can leave me a comment with a suggestion.

As Ash starts his first ever journey at 17 he chooses to explore a region that isn't his hometown, unfortunately he crossed a wrong path and then meets a boy named Gary who he feels connection with but how will he tell him he's not a Pokémon but a human boy? Firstly, this is my very first attempt at a Pokemon story, so constructive criticism is welcome. Secondly, this story starts right after the events of the Lumiose Conference and the Battle with Team Flare, but from here on out it is going to be considered AU. It is also, Pallet-Shipping centered (AshxGary), so you are warned. This work of fiction is not going to be the usual Pokemon tale you will read; there will not be much actually battling until far later into the work. This is because it is going to be emotionally hard for those who are sensitive and/or don't do well with situations involving lots of pressure or bad emotions. It was inspired by my recent recovery process from a long and hard personal battle with depression; so it is going to make you cry in sadness and frustration. It is going to make you feel for these characters (more than we already do), and it is going to cause your own emotions to tumble with turmoil over their situations as the characters try to make the best of a lot of hardships to go to recovery. To get to where they can stand up again and be strong for themselves. I know this is not much of a summary; but after what I said in the first part, anything else would give to much away and spoil it.
