An ex-soldier, a wanderer of Faerun, she returns to Baldur's Gate to find her way back into an upper-class social circle, hoping to find something to fill her monotonous days. But when she is abruptly captured and implanted with an Illithid tadpole, she finds all the excitement she wants and more, including in the form of a familiar face.

Astarion took interest in you, your pretty and smart but inoccent and new to your power at first he thinks it something he could take advantage of. But will it change as his feelings grow for you??

Vex is a half elf Baldurian born rogue at Baldur's gate. She among with many others was swept up and held captive by a mysterious Nautiloid ship. She was infused with an illithid tadpole which can transform anyone into a mind flayer, a person's most feared and worst nightmare. With the clock ticking, Vex and her companions, who have tadpoles inside of them as well, must find a way to get rid of them before it's too late.

"Would you like to experience flight, Astarion?" Halsin asked suddenly. Astarion was snapped back to the present, surprised face meeting Halsin's kind eyes. The giant of an elf was standing now, shoulders squared with Astarion's. "It's not possible." Astarion said at last. "I didn't ask if it was possible. I asked if you would like to experience it." Halsin stood before him, determined to pull an honest answer from the vampire's lips. Astarion looked at the ground. If he'd been capable of it, embarrassment would've turned his pale face red by now. "Yes. I would." he whispered at last.
