On the day Hiccup is supposed to prove himself as a Viking, he disappears. With Berk believing he died hunting a Night Fury, Hiccup travels the world far from the place he once called home.

After discovering another new island, Hiccup and gang decide to investigate as it is their job to discover, record, and protect all dragons. However, after a cave in accident that leaves Hiccup separated from the group. The group must reconvene back on the outside, leaving Hiccup to traverse the cave alone. Or so he thought....
