Asher Sanovski grew up wanting to be an NBA player. After years of hard work, dedication, and just a bit of luck, Asher ended up as a starter for the New York Knicks. But when he gets traded to the Utah Jazz, he's bitter and angry. He doesn't fit in with his new team, new environment, and he especially hates the sports commentator always hanging around the place. As a result, he starts playing horribly. What can he do to get his groove back? Quinn Keller knows basketball like the back of her hand. Growing up the daughter of esteemed Jazz/Nuggets point guard James Keller, she's always had an in to the game. But after a devastating knee injury kept her from playing in the WNBA, she decided to become a sports announcer. She was loving her job, too, until Asher Sanovski shows up with his bad attitude and starts making her job that much harder. Since avoiding him isn't really in her job description, and they keep being shoved together, Quinn has no choice but to grit her teeth and bear it. Disclaimer: Majority of my characters are completely made up and not at all a gauge of real players' or teams' talent. Any real people or teams mentioned or characterized in this book are exaggerated one way or the other for entertainment. I also see that The Utah Jazz isn't a large franchise, but as I'm a fan of them myself, I had to make them Asher and Quinn's team. ;) Also, FYI this book takes place BEFORE Oliver and Avni. You'll get why if you read it😤😏

I wrote this poem resulting from feelings I had during an award ceremony in high school, in which most of the awards were based on athletic ability only. These feelings, now put to paper, I hope open your eyes to the unbalance of athletics and knowledge. If not, I hope it's at least interesting.
